From the moment Sydney's mom Molly reached out to me to plan the engagement photos, I knew this wedding was going to be special. Their engagement session showed me just how much fun these two have together, and I couldn't wait for their big day at the gorgeous Naples Grande Beach Resort. Alex and Sydney are not only a joy to be around but so is their amazing family. In fact, their families were involved every step of the way - from the planning process to Alex’s grandfather’s heirloom pocket watch to Sydney’s brother being her “Man of Honor".”
Alex and Sydney's first look and private vows on the private balcony had my second shooter and I both crying behind our cameras. Alex's face when he turned around to see Sydney in her dress was pure adoration. These quiet moments before the ceremony often make for the most honest photographs.
The ceremony took place out on the terrace under the palms. The decor was simple yet classy and elegant. After their official "I dos" we rode a golf cart down to the beach. The reception party kicked off with Wiley Entertainment taking the stage. My evening ended with the party still rocking. On my way out and as I said my goodbyes my heart was fueled by compliment after compliment from their families. I nearly wanted to turn around and stay but my tired feet said otherwise.
