WEDDINGS · LOVE · CELEBRATION

15 years in the industry and I still love weddings.

I've been photographing weddings for 15 years, and somehow I still cry during vows and parent dances. I still love the energy of a packed dance floor, the anticipation of the day and getting to spend it with your people on one of the biggest days of their lives.

When you choose me to photograph your wedding, you're trusting me with so much more than your photos. You're inviting me into your family, your friendships and a day you'll never get to live twice.

You could choose anyone to be there with you.

When you choose me, that’s not something I take for granted.

Southwest Florida Wedding Photographer

I've been doing this a long time.

Experience is knowing when to step in and when to stay out of the way. It's being comfortable in a room full of people I’ve never met. It's knowing how to take charge without making the day about me. It's staying calm, paying attention and knowing what needs to happen next.

I've photographed big weddings, small weddings, quiet weddings and weddings with dance floors I never wanted to leave. I've worked alongside planners and vendors all over Southwest Florida, and I've learned something from every single one.

You shouldn't have to manage your photographer on your wedding day.

You should be able to trust that I've got this.

This day belongs to you..

Not your guests. Not the person with the loudest opinion. Not even the person who wrote the biggest check.

You.

Wedding days have a funny way of becoming about everyone else. There are people to greet, traditions to follow, expectations to meet and a hundred little things pulling at your attention.

But somewhere in the middle of all of that, I want you to remember why everyone is there.

You're getting married.

The day goes by faster than you think it will. So when I see an opportunity, I'm going to remind you to slow down. Look around. Take it in. Spend an extra minute with the person you just married.

I care about your photographs deeply. But I also care about how you feel while you're living the moments I'm photographing.

I want you to feel comfortable enough with me to tell me if something is wrong. I want you to know you can confide in me, laugh with me and trust me to take charge when it's appropriate.

Somewhere along the way, you stop feeling like just another client.

When someone in your family hugs me at the end of the night or stops me on my way out just to say, “You did an amazing job today,” it means more to me than they probably realize.

Maybe being a mom has made this part of weddings hit a little differently, too. I watch parents see their children get married and know that someday, if I'm lucky, I'll be standing where they are.

I think about that more than I used to.

By the time I pack up to head home, I don't want to feel like I'm leaving a job.

I want it to feel like I'm saying goodnight to friends.

Steph is amazing – working with her on our wedding day and leading up to it was great! She always answered all of my questions and was very responsive, organized and professional. She is so personable and funny and it felt like I had known her for years. My husband and I had never posed for pictures with a photographer and on our wedding day we were completely at ease working with Steph! She made everything seem natural and I would recommend anyone to work with her. I can’t say enough great things about her!

My now husband and I chose Steph to capture our wedding day and we couldn’t be happier! She is so personable and easy to get along with that it felt as though she was a friend the entire time. She captured our day perfectly!

Steph is AMAZING! I had 100% confidence in her abilities to capture our special special day and she did not disappoint! Not only is she an amazing photographer, but an amazing person as well. I had a HARD day and she did more than anyone else to help me through the craziness. She captured our special moments, helped me tremendously and always had a calm about her with a smile on her face! I am so thankful that I picked her to be there as my photographer and friend! Not only did she capture our wedding day with her camera, but she made sure things got done!

Planning a Destination Wedding?

Take me with you.

If you've found your person and decided to gather everyone you love somewhere far from home, I'd love to be there.

There's something special about photographing a wedding somewhere completely new - the scenery, the energy, the experience of everyone being away together. And wherever we're going, you still get me - the photographer you've already gotten to know and trust.

I've photographed weddings beyond Southwest Florida and I'm always happy to talk about where you're headed next.

These photographs were taken at a destination wedding in St. Lucia.

Now tell me about your wedding!

If you've made it this far, I have a feeling we should probably talk. Tell me where you're getting married, what you're planning and what you're most excited about.
